• Who: 16U and 18U players
• Dates: Departure after the JO Qualifiers on Monday, June 17, 2024, and return on June 28. After the trip, the players will return to the States to apply all they have learned to their practices, which will resume promptly in preparation for the Junior Olympics. 
• Destinations: Rome and Naples

The group will fly into Rome (leaving from SFO on June 17 and landing at FCO on June 18) and take a private bus to Naples on the morning of June 19.

They will stay in Naples from June 19 to 23 and return to Rome on June 23, remaining until they depart from Rome on June 28.

Who is organizing this trip?

Waterpolo Experience (WPE)

Who is accompanying the players to Italy?

Coach Bruno, Coach Steven, and Coach Eric will accompany the players on this trip. They will stay in the same hotel as the players (all three in Rome, Steven and Eric in Naples, and Bruno will stay with his family). They will be at all the activities, training, and meals.

Lodging Accommodations

The players will stay in double rooms (two players per room) unless in a "family room"/suite with an occupancy of 3-4, and the kids will be in a larger space. 

Can I sign up for the camp but travel independently? 

Yes, the group flight is an add-on—it is your choice to travel with the group.

Players will have transport to/from the airport even if they are not traveling with the group. 

We highly recommend everyone be on the same flight, but we understand that some parents will use points/prefer to find cheaper flights on their own, which may result in different flight paths. 

If not on the same flight, players should arrive in Rome before/at the same time as the group so that they can be collected at FCO with the group. In case of a flight delay, someone from WPE will be available to collect players arriving later than expected at SFO.

Water Polo Experience Cancellation Policy

To receive a full cash refund, Summer 2024 Water Polo Experience enrollment must be withdrawn or canceled on or before March 31, 2024. All cancellation requests must be received via email.
Refund Schedule:
- Cancellation requests made on April 1, 2024, until April 15, 2024, shall receive only a 75% refund of the total trip price
- Cancellation requests made on April 16, 2024, until April 30, 2024, shall receive only a 25% refund
- Any cancellations made after May 1, 2024, are nonrefundable.

Any cancellations made after the last date allowed for cancellation shall be considered forfeited in favor of the camp and will not receive a refund or credit.
