The USA Water Polo Junior Olympic Championships (JO's) is the largest age group water polo tournament. Athletes and teams from across the country compete nationally over four days.
More information about the Junior Olympics is on the USA Water Polo website—link to the right.
In particular, make sure you review the athlete requirement section.
The JO team is capped at 14 athletes in the 12U division and 18 athletes in the 14U, 16U, and 18U divisions, and selection is based on, but not limited to, the following criteria: position, ability/skill level, experience, attitude, commitment to the club, and attendance record.
Going to JO's is a serious commitment to the team and yourself as an athlete. If you sign up for JO's, you must attend all the qualifying tournaments and Junior Olympic Championships.

The qualification games (Quals) will be played locally in mid-June:
If a team does not qualify, we will discuss the option of participating in the JO Session III in Texas.
The teams not qualifying for the Junior Olympic Session I in the Bay Area can participate in Session III.
