High School Players
To our high school players, we wish you the best of luck in your high school season. We look forward to seeing you again for the winter season, which will begin in early November.
Thank you for your dedication and hard work this summer. Let's finish strong this week and get ready for an exciting fall season that's just around the corner!
12U Team
Coach Natasha
Game 1: Mid-Pen (5) vs. Stanford B (5)
It was an exciting game, with both teams equally matched! That being said, it heavily relied on our players' swimming and endurance since we were playing with smaller goals than either team was used to. If it wasn't for the game clock gritting out during the final quarter, and squashing our counter-possession, I believe we could have pulled ahead, but the boys played hard and held it off at a tie.
Game 2: Mid-pen(7) vs Stanford A (7)
Mirin did not show up, so the other Stanford team gladly jumped in so we could both have a second game. Our players anticipated counters and moved our offense; on defense, they were quick to shoot blocks and made sure to help back when needed. Once in a while, there would be an unsafe pass or their player would beat ours to the ball, but overall, our 12Us have improved immensely since their first games!
14U Team
Coach Adam
Game 1: Stanford 13-Mid-Pen 6, loss.
We weren't warmed up because there was no space to warm up, so they went into the game a little slowly.
Game 2: West Valley 8- Mid-Pen 7, loss.
We played better and were more focused.
I had Ryan and Mitchell switch who played goalie since they were more familiar. Both did well in it. We did our best with most of the team out of town and only one sub.
