18U achieved a wonderful 3rd place in their division!

The bronze medal has an even greater value, considering the team played four games in two days with eight players, which means only one substitution.

1st game vs. Vallejo: win 13-12.

Last quarter started with Mid-Pen down 8-11, but the boys made an incredible comeback, scoring the winning goal with 19 seconds left on the clock.

It was also a great win, considering Vallejo had three physical college players on the roster.

2nd game vs. SD ECA: win 12-8

The team looked tired from the previous game and went down 4-1 in the first quarter. Then the boys showed their skills and pulled out all the energy left playing great for the other 3 quarters and secured a great win.

3rd game vs. San Clemente: loss 5-13

The most challenging game of the tournament was against the team who finished the tournament undefeated.

Despite the 8-goal difference, the boys kept the game pretty close for 3 quarters, allowing more goals just towards the end when they were exhausted.

4th game vs. La Jolla Gold: loss 7-8

The boys were exhausted but pushed hard to finish the tournament with the third win.

The game was exciting, and the boys tried to tie it up until the last second.

I don’t want to mention anyone in particular but the ENTIRE TEAM!

These young men gave their 100% in the water and made this KAP7 an incredible and fun experience, mainly because there was little fear of a flop due to the very low number of players.
